INFO ABOUT THIS RECORD

"2K2" is about the concept of travelling through time starting with the year 2002 and going back through the ages, meadering across its confines. It contains a great deal of references taken from sci-fi literature. Particularly Robert Silverberg's "Up The Line" ( travels in Egypt from the song "Heretic" ), Robert Sawyer's "Flashforward", Isaac Asimov's "The End Of Eternity" and H.G Wells "The Time Machine".
This new CD includes the cover version of "Odissea Veneziana" by Rondo' Veneziano. Rondo' Veneziano was a successful italian band of the 80's that fused classical musical influences of the 18th. century (another stage of time travelling...) together with modern elements (drums, bass guitar and synth). On "2K2" it has been redone by EXAWATT in their own distinctive style which can be described as power progressive metal.
